City Hall Leiden

Between the Breestraat and the Vismarkt in the Dutch city of Leiden there is a very special national monument; the Town Hall. To go along with the new and flexible way of working, the town hall has undergone a renovation, in which the building has been made more sustainable by applying heat-cold storage. And not only that, because with our JAZO doors/fronts and ventilation grilles, the technical areas of the town hall are shielded, ventilated and safety is guaranteed. A renovation for the future!

THE CHALLENGE

On behalf of Du Prie Bouw & Ontwikkeling BV, JAZO supplied and installed the shielding, access and ventilation for the technical areas of the town hall. A wonderful assignment where we at JAZO were once again able to use our specialist knowledge and expertise. For example, in this project in Leiden, vertical blades (VS) were used, instead of the horizontal variant (HS) that is more often used for ventilation grilles and facades. A great challenge for both our draftsmen and welders in the factory.

THE SOLUTION

And it is clear that nothing has been left to chance in this process. The doors are provided by JAZO in the color desired by the customer, so that they really match the facade of the building. And the functionality is also great. Three single aluminum doors were delivered in accordance with the regulations of energy company Liander. All doors are equipped with aluminum safety ventilation grilles type VS-42.

Our products

The City Hall in Leiden is the embodiment of a beautiful collaboration between several parties, in which the latest requirements of energy company Liander have been taken into account and the monumental character of the building has been preserved. A project that not only the customer but also we are proud of!
